Just behind and slightly downstream of the Royal Canadian Mint, in downtown Ottawa, Ontario.

Water temperature: From 1C (Feb.) to 25C (July)
[edit] Description
This is a dive for scavengers. Look for old bottles and clay pipes. There used to be a huge (7' long) sturgeon named Oliver here (recent report?).

This is a shore dive. Park at the parking lot on Lady Grey Drive, just off Sussex Drive. Facing the river, turn left and carry your gear down a short road.
[edit] Hazards
Low visibility and boat traffic can be hazards here. Avoid getting snagged on submerged logs.
