[edit] Access

This site has the foundations of a old pumping station. A power house with some machines remaining. Lock 23 itself with its two locks, one bigger then the other and downstream, the remains of a marina. Lots of fish hang around the marina.

A drift dive can start at the dock to visit the lock. From the dock, head south across the current to the wall. At the wall let the current carry you to the lock. A different drift can start from the pumping station at the end of Augusta St. From that point you're in the channel, follow the bottom across the current to the submerged pumping station. From there drift in the channel to see the power station (in the wall).

[edit] Hazards

Any hazards associated with diving this site go here
