[edit] Description

This steel canaller was built in England in 1910 and sank after only two years of service on Oct. 26, 1912.

This wreck lies on a slope on its starboard side, with the deck facing downstream (east). The bow rests at 30' and the stern at 110'. The propellor rests in the silt a few feet upstream of the stern. The holds in this wreck have large openings and are cavern like, but can be easily silted.

A large anchor dating from the 1800's (not the Keystorm's) can be found near the wreck, partially buried under 4 feet of clay.

[edit] Access

Access is by boat, using one of two Dive Tech moorings. One of these leads to the bow at 30' and the other leads to mid-ship at 45'.

This wreck lies in U.S. waters. Check with your charter operator to find out exactly what documentation you will need and provide any information required by U.S. Customs in advance. Normally, canadian charters must check in and check out with the US Customs office at Boldt Castle.
